The application is being submitted on behalf of Bus Éireann Proposal Description: The proposed development comprises the following key elements: • The upgrade of the existing bus station in full compliance with Technical Guidance Document Part M 2020; • Introduction of a Changing Places accessible facility; • Enlargement of public waiting areas; • Upgrade of customer accommodation to Part M-compliant standards; • Reconfiguration of café layout to integrate with the waiting area; • Provision of a new Part M-compliant reception desk; • Renovation of staff office areas to ensure accessibility; • Provision of an external accessible and guide dog relief area; • Development of 4 no. new bus bays with associated road widening, kerbing and pedestrian paths; • Revised car parking layout including accessible bays; • New hard landscaped pedestrian area; RECEIVED: 01/10/2025 Page 2 of 2 • External fabric works to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
