Engineer’s Report
No Objection Subject to the Following Conditions:
1. Sight distance of 120 metres in both directions to be maintained from a point in the
entrance 2.4 metres from the road edge and 1.05 metre above ground level were the
laneway meets R179. Sight distances to be measured to the nearside road edge in
both directions. Where it is necessary remove hedges/ trees to achieve this sight
distance.
2. The line of any new fence, hedge or wall must be positioned behind the visibility splays.
Any new trees or shrubs to be planted back from the visibility splays to allow for future
growth and some species will require additional set back. All planting must be kept
trimmed and must not impede on the visibility splays.
