I wish to acknowledge receipt of your application for Retention Permission and Permission consisting of
the following: Retaining an as-constructed storage extension, incorporating ancillary covered canopy,
attached to the rear of existing commercial property. Erecting a new single storey, portal framed storage
extension, incorporating ancillary covered canopy to rear, attached to the side of existing commercial
property. Creating a new a new site entrance onto public road replacing existing site entrance to be
permanently closed. Creating a new permeable-surfaced storage area for the stacking of de-polluted end
of life vehicles, together with all associated site works. [This site relates to an activity authorised under
the waste management (Facility Permit & Registration) regulations 2007 S.I. No. 821/2007] at Sra
Ballybay Co. Monaghan was received on 12/11/2025.
The drawings and specifications submitted with your application are being examined by the Council’s
technical staff and you will be notified of the Council’s decision in due course.
Please note that no work should be carried out in connection with the proposal until a written grant of
permission to do so has been received by you from this Council. The carrying out of work, without the
permission referred to, could render you liable for legal proceedings under the Planning Acts.
Please note that the validity of this application is subject to the Site Notice complying with the
Regulations. An inspection of the site will be carried out within a period of five weeks from the date of
receipt of your application. If in the event of the Site Notice not complying with the Regulations, this
application will be declared Invalid and returned to you.
