With reference to Article 28 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) and to the
development description below, please find below link to of all relevant documents showing position of
the proposed development.
… permission to erect a 850 kW wind turbine located in the northern area of our existing plant, with a hub
height of 65 metres and a blade radius of 26 metres, together with underground ducting connecting to
the existing ESB substation and all associated site works. A Natura Impact Assessment (NIS) will be
submitted to the Planning Authority in connection with the application described above.
Please note that submissions or observations must be received in writing by the planning authority
within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application. This
application was received on 25/11/2025 and is referred to the following for observations:
• MCC Planning Section
• Ballybay/Clones Municipal District
• Environmental Health OƯicer (John Quinn)
• Environment Section
• Irish Aviation Authority
• Dept. of Defence
