I wish to acknowledge receipt of your application for retention permission and permission for the
development of a storage compound the development for which retention permission is sought consists
of single storey storage building, an office building and storage yard for the storage of building materials,
plant and machinery. Retention permission is also sought for boundary fencing, relocation of existing
entrance, concrete boundary walls, site clearance and all associated site development works permission
is also sought for a wastewater treatment system, percolation area, petrol interceptors and all associated
site works at Mullaghanee Castleblayney Co. Monaghan was received on 27/01/2026.
The drawings and specifications submitted with your application are being examined by the Council’s
technical staff and you will be notified of the Council’s decision in due course.
Please note that no work should be carried out in connection with the proposal until a written grant of
permission to do so has been received by you from this Council. The carrying out of work, without the
permission referred to, could render you liable for legal proceedings under the Planning Acts.
Please note that the validity of this application is subject to the Site Notice complying with the
Regulations. An inspection of the site will be carried out within a period of five weeks from the date of
receipt of your application. If in the event of the Site Notice not complying with the Regulations, this
application will be declared Invalid and returned to you.
