I wish to acknowledge receipt of your application for permission for a development to consist of:-
Proposed material alterations and a new 90 m² extension to the rear of the existing single-storey
dwelling. - The reconfiguration of the existing roof profile on the East-West axis to incorporate a new
front gable and to facilitate the accommodation of 2 no. bedrooms, a bathroom, and a playroom within
the roof space. - Internal alterations including the installation of a new staircase in the existing entrance
hall, comprehensive thermal upgrades, and - All associated site works at Derrynagrew Monaghan Co
Monaghan was received on 16/03/2026.
The drawings and specifications submitted with your application are being examined by the Council’s
technical staff and you will be notified of the Council’s decision in due course.
Please note that no work should be carried out in connection with the proposal until a written grant of
permission to do so has been received by you from this Council. The carrying out of work, without the
permission referred to, could render you liable for legal proceedings under the Planning Acts.
Please note that the validity of this application is subject to the Site Notice complying with the
Regulations. An inspection of the site will be carried out within a period of five weeks from the date of
receipt of your application. If in the event of the Site Notice not complying with the Regulations, this
application will be declared Invalid and returned to you.
