ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1.
The Planning Authority is not satisfied that the proposed development will meet the
requirements of The Environmental Protection Agency Code of Practice for Domestic Waste
Water Treatment Systems (Population Equivalent <= 10) 2021. In this regard the applicant is
requested to submit:
a) A structural report on the existing system serving the dwelling
b) confirmation that the existing wastewater treatment system has adequate capacity to
take the loading from the dwelling house and the additional loading from the
extension.
c) In the event that it is considered unsatisfactory, proposals to be submitted for a new
system if required and also the provision of a new percolation area in accordance with
the requirements of the document entitled The Environmental Protection Agency
Code of Practice Domestic Waste Water Treatment Systems (Population Equivalent <=
10) 2021.
