Re:Planning application Reference no. 2660126 by Hadabo Developments Ltd at Killyconnigan. Dear Sir/Madam, We wish to formally object to the above planning application based on the following. 1. Overlooking. The proposed development with windows in second storey will directly overlook our back garden affecting our privacy. Incompatability. The proposed development consists of predominantly three-storey houses — and this is inconsistent and out of character with the housing that exists in Killyconnigan which is predominantly single-storeyed. Density and traffic concerns. Killyconnigan is soon to have 23 new housing units opened -just across the road from this additional proposed development, thus it will significantly increase traffic volumes in this residential area- the roads are not designed to accommodate additional traffic and this likely to result in reduced safety, for children, pedestrians and cyclists using these roads. No adequate traffic management or mitigation measures have been demonstrated to address these concerns. Environmental Concerns. The proposed removal and destruction of mature trees and habitats will negatively affect the biodiversity of this site.
