To whom it may concern,
In response to the Request for Further Information (Item 4(ii)), it is acknowledged that a 10 m
buffer will be maintained wherever practicable, and the Proposed Development has been
designed to retain this buffer to the greatest extent feasible. In limited, localised areas—
primarily adjacent to the proposed access track and sections of the proposed power cable—
where constraints prevent full compliance, additional water mitigation and monitoring
measures have been incorporated.
These measures, as detailed within the Construction Environmental Management Plan
(CEMP), Water Framework Directive (WFD) Assessment, Water Sampling Plan, and Site
Drainage Plan (accompanying this planning application), include enhanced mitigation and
monitoring provisions to safeguard the receiving environment.
On this basis, it is concluded that the combined mitigation and monitoring strategy will
provide an adequate level of protection to the Maghery Stream.
