With reference to Article 28 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) and to
the development description below, please find below link to of all relevant documents showing
position of the proposed development.
… permission for development consisting of the following: - 1. Full restoration of the 1930’s original
glazed walkway known as the Arcade, built at the same time of a school building to connect to the
main former convent structure. 2. Full restoration including thermal upgrades to the 1959 glazed
walkway constructed at the same time as the Concert Hall to connect all areas of the convent /
school. Proposed works include the replacement of the patent aluminium glazing bars and
laminated glass roof with a natural slated roof..
Please note that submissions or observations must be received in writing by the planning authority
within the period of 5 weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the authority of the application. This
application was received on 22/05/2026 and is referred to the following for observations:
