Engineer’s Report
It is recommended the following information is requested by the Planning Authority:
1. Applicant to show on drawing sight distance of 90 metres in both directions to be provided
from a point in the entrance 2.4 metres from the road edge and 1.05 metre above ground
level were the laneway meets the L-2242-0 LP. Sight distances to be measured to the
nearside road edge in both directions.
2. Where visibility splays cross over third-party lands, the applicant is to submit legal
agreements to allow for the maintenance, removing, and or, setting back of any
obstructions impeding on the visibility splays. Where necessary remove hedges/crash
barrier in order to achieve this sight distance.
