Dear Sir / Madam,
With reference to the above planning application and your letter dated 24th April 2026 requesting
further information the following is a detailed response to each if the matters raised there-in:
1. Please find attached Drawing No. 01A - Dependent Relative Accommodation Premises -
Ground Floor Plan; Front, Rear & Side Elevations which provides details of a revised design
proposal. In particular, the revised proposal indicates the Dependent Relative
Accommodation linked to the existing dwelling house and with a gross internal floor area of 70
sq.m. overall including the link. The revised proposal is now in accordance with Section
15.10.3 and Policy ILAP 1 of the County Development Plan 2025 – 2031.
2. It is proposed to decommission the existing septic tank and percolation area and replace with
an O’ Reilly Oakstown Wastewater Treatment System and Purpose Built Sand Polishing Filter
(15 sq.m.) on a Gravel Base (150 sq.m.). Please find attached a Site Characterisation Report
prepared by Traynor Environmental Ltd. accordingly. In addition please find attached Drawing
No. 02A – Site Layout Plan; Drawing No. 03A – Site Location Map; Drawing No. 05 – Sand
Polishing Filter & Gravel bed (Plan) and Drawing No. 05 – Sand Polishing Filter & Gravel bed
(Section) which provide details of the proposed O’ Reilly Oakstown Wastewater Treatment
