Figure 1 - Location of Shed RECEIVED: 09/07/2026
As shown below the building is a small, detached domestic storage shed. Its scale,
form and appearance are characteristic of an ancillary domestic outbuilding and are not
consistent with an agricultural building. The shed is used exclusively for general
household storage and contains typical domestic items including a lawnmower,
wheelbarrow, garden tools, firewood and other miscellaneous gardening equipment.
There is no evidence of agricultural use

Figure 5 illustrates the relationship between the domestic storage shed and the site
formerly occupied by the mushroom houses. While the concrete foundations of the
former mushroom houses remain visible, the buildings themselves have been
demolished and no longer exist on the site. Consequently, there are no existing
agricultural buildings remaining in this location.

Based on the foregoing, the only building located within 100 metres of the proposed
dwelling is a domestic storage shed. There are no existing agricultural structures within
the prescribed separation distance. Accordingly, the proposed development complies
with this aspect of the Planning Authority’s Request for Additional Information.
