I wish to acknowledge receipt of your application for permission to construct a housing development on
a site of 0.146 Hectares, consisting of a total of 6 No. houses to include for the: (1) Demolition of
existing 3 storey terrace house (A75 DT10) (2) Construct a new replacement 3 No three storey terraced
three-bed townhouses onto Muckno Street (3) construct 3 No. three storey 3 bed townhouses accessed
from McGrath Road (4) New Pedestrian & vehicular access road from McGrath Road. (5) connect to
existing public storm, foul and water mains and Landscaping, boundary treatments; public lighting; & all
associated site infrastructure and engineering works necessary to facilitate the development at Muckno
Street, Drumillard Little Castleblayney Monaghan was received on 23/07/2026.
The drawings and specifications submitted with your application are being examined by the Council’s
technical staff and you will be notified of the Council’s decision in due course.
Please note that no work should be carried out in connection with the proposal until a written grant of
permission to do so has been received by you from this Council. The carrying out of work, without the
permission referred to, could render you liable for legal proceedings under the Planning Acts.
Please note that the validity of this application is subject to the Site Notice complying with the
Regulations. An inspection of the site will be carried out within a period of five weeks from the date of
receipt of your application. If in the event of the Site Notice not complying with the Regulations, this
application will be declared Invalid and returned to you.
