ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Planning Authority notes that the proposed development is located within close proximity
Protected Structure Corcrin House (No. 41403120). Policy BHP 4 of the Monaghan County
Development Plan 2025-2031 seeks to ensure that 'any new development proposed in the
vicinity of a Protected Structure will complement and be sympathetic to the structure and its
setting in terms of its design, scale, height, massing and use of materials and to resist any
development which is likely to impact on the building's special interest and/or any views of
such buildings and their setting'. The Planning Authority also notes that the proposal includes
a new meal silo, however no dimensional drawings have been provided with regard to same.
In order to allow a full and proper assessment of the potential impact of the proposal on the
views and setting of Protected Structure Corcrin House (No. 41403120), the applicant is
requested to provide scaled, dimensional drawings of the proposed meal silo and detail of the
proposed finished floor level.
2. Section 15.13.1 'General Requirements for Agricultural Development' of the Monaghan
County Development Plan 2025-2031 stipulates that all planning applications shall be
accompanied by a 'Supplementary Planning Application Form for Agricultural Developments'
(Appendix 7). This documentation has not been provided with the application. In order to
ensure that the proposal fully complies with aforementioned Section 15.13.1, the applicant is
requested to provide a fully completed 'Supplementary Planning Application Form for
Agricultural Developments'.
