within Roadstone Limited's Landholding. The Proposed
Development includes the extension of the extraction area
of Kilmuckridge Sandpit (Planning Reference: 19/958)
eastwards in a phased manner. The proposed extraction
area will be benched with a final extraction depth of 22
metres above Ordnance Datum ('mOD') in the western
area of the Site and 19.41mOD in the eastern area of the
Site. The proposed extraction area will cover an area of
ca. 22.82ha. The Proposed Development will involve the
installation of additional ancillary infrastructure, which
includes a washing plant, wheel wash, groundwater
well for abstraction purposes and associated drainage
infrastructure for operational purposes. Roadstone Limited
are also seeking to restore the Site through the importation
of clean, uncontaminated soil and stone material notified/
registered as by-product in accordance with the definition of
a by-product as set out in Regulation 27 of European Union
(Waste Directive) Regulations 2011 (as amended). This
material will be used to complement site-won materials for
the purposes of constructing berms around the periphery
and habitat creation. As part of the restoration of the
Site, native woodland and scrub planting, species-rich
grassland, surface water bodies, low-nutrient landscapes
and a series of hedgerows will be created / planted to
support local biodiversity. A planning permission of 25
years is being sought for the Proposed Development. The
application is accompanied by an Environmental Impact

Significant further information consisting of a reduction

3,347,836m3 due to a revision in final depth following the
introduction of sub-phases 1a and 4a into the phasing plan.
These subphases will be extracted to a depth of 27.5mOD
instead of the previously proposed 22mOD. The remainder
of the Phase 1 and Phase 4 areas will still be extracted to
a depth of 22mOD as per the original plans. There will be
no change to the volume of imported material, which will
remain at 1,920,000 tonnes. Revised plans, Addendum/
