request.
Dear Brian,
On behalf of the above-named applicant, we hereby request a time extension from Monaghan County Council to
respond to the request for further information, in respect of the aforementioned development. The 6-month period
from the date of the further information request on the proposed development expires on the 28th June 2026.
Article 33(3) of the Planning and Development Regulations 2006 states that:
"When a requirement under sub-article(1) or sub-article (2) is not compiled with within the period of 6 months from
the date of requirement for further information, or such additional period, not exceeding 3 months, as may be agreed
by the planning authority, the planning application shall be declared to be withdrawn and the planning authority
shall, as soon as may be, notify the applicant that the application has been declared to be withdrawn"
In this context, it is respectfully requested that Monaghan County Council grant a time extension of 3 months for the
response to the request for further information in respect of Register Reference 25/60432. The time extension is
requested in order to enable the applicant to make a full and comprehensive response to the range of technical
issues raised within the Council's Fl request and also for consultation with Monaghan County Council in this process.
We would greatly appreciate if you could confirm that the requested time extension is satisfactory and has been
approved by the Planning Authority.
