Response to Third Party Submission – Gene McKenna
The applicant acknowledges the submission made by Mr. Gene McKenna regarding the ownership of the
roadside boundary and adjoining lands.
It is respectfully confirmed that the proposed development does not seek permission for, nor does it
propose, any works on lands outside the applicant's ownership or control. Following discussions with the
Planning Authority, the site layout drawings have been amended to include a specific note confirming that
only that section of the roadside boundary hedge within the applicant's ownership is to be removed and
that no works whatsoever are proposed on neighbouring lands.
Accordingly, the application should be assessed on the basis of the revised drawings submitted as part of
this Further Information response. Any future works affecting lands outside the applicant's ownership
would require the agreement of the relevant landowner and do not form part of this planning application.
It is therefore considered that the concerns raised regarding encroachment onto adjoining lands have
been fully addressed by the revised drawings and clarification submitted.
