To whom it may concern,
I can confirm that the system installed at the above address is a Biofilter Model VES4 (plant details included
in brochure). This was purchased from FM Environmental in September 2004.
28 PE refers to people in full time residency (domestic dwelling) — in normal circumstances 1 P.E. equals
2001/60g BOD, hydraulic/organic loading (i.e. per person); therefore a plant capacity of 28 x 2001 / 28 x 60g
per day.
In an office or part time facilities (wash hand basin / WC use) typical loading would be 10-151/s / 15-20g per
person. Each P.E. would facilitate 3-4 persons and the plant total would allow for 100 approx. users.
