I wish to acknowledge receipt of your application for permission for development will consist of: (i)
replacement of the existing pitched and flat roofs; (ii) modifications to the external façades, including the
installation of external insulation; (iii) conversion of the existing attached garages to habitable
accommodation; (iv) construction of a new single-storey domestic garage; (v) replacement of the existing
entrance piers and front garden walls; and (vi) all associated alterations, demolitions, site works and
ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development of the existing dwelling house (Previous Planning
Ref. No. 95/212) at Bocks Middle Laragh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan was received on 05/09/2026.
The drawings and specifications submitted with your application are being examined by the Council’s
technical staff and you will be notified of the Council’s decision in due course.
Please note that no work should be carried out in connection with the proposal until a written grant of
permission to do so has been received by you from this Council. The carrying out of work, without the
permission referred to, could render you liable for legal proceedings under the Planning Acts.
Please note that the validity of this application is subject to the Site Notice complying with the
Regulations. An inspection of the site will be carried out within a period of five weeks from the date of
receipt of your application. If in the event of the Site Notice not complying with the Regulations, this
application will be declared Invalid and returned to you.
